For once this is not about a classical buyer, but rather about a buyer//fellow seller….who fancies himself better and the one who made the rules of the trade - when in reality he’s as unprofessional as it gets.
Short preface: once I sell an item, I usually wait until the buyer receives it and confirms everything’s in order before removing the ad; it’s the correct thing to do as professional sales don’t end with the shipping….there’s a “teeny-tiny” thing called after-sales service. But here’s the full story. A few days ago I sold a laptop. Today a guy who had previously contacted me about it came back and asked me - rather rudely too - why the ad for the laptop was still up; when I told him exactly what I say above, he arrogantly claimed that I was «wrong. once you sell, you have to immediately remove the ad. shipping doesn’t matter.»….WTF!? When I tried to explain his statements were the actually wrong ones - as no serious and professional seller will wash his hand of i.e. a shipment getting lost, the content getting damaged or the buyer being unsatisfied…that’s what after-sales is - he (quite delusionally LMAO) claimed that his procedure was the standard because he had always sold using it; when I debunked that BS by explaining the above practice of after-sales to him again, he dismissed me…and vanished….yeah, very serious and professional. u_u And so deeply delusional amateur. ROFL The guy might have been selling for a while, but he sure as heck wasn’t a good seller - quite the contrary, he was the epitome of unprofessional and amateurish and I bet everything that, given his sh*tty attitude, none of his client was satisfied let alone happy with him.
Sorry for the rant, but this guy was so delusional I had to share the story - hoping I never meet anyone else like him. See you all on next entry; many cheers. XOXO
